Katherine Margaret Korody

Katherine Margaret Korody, 90 Poland- Katherine Margaret Korody, 90 of 2776 Center Road formerly of Wetmore in Struthers, died Thursday morning at her residence in Poland. Mrs. Korody was born June 13, 1915 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Katherine Hudach Hudak. She lived in Struthers most of her life. She attended South High School and was a student of the first graduating class of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a sales clerk in the baby department of Strouss Department Store, Downtown Youngstown for 25 years and later worked at Babyland in Boardman for 4 years. Mrs. Korody was also a nanny for a physician in Canfield. Mrs. Korody was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. She leaves her daughters, Kathy (Vince) Caggiano of North Canton, Ohio and Karen Ann (Ronald) Valentine of Omaha, Nebraska; one sister, Mildred Opar of Wayne, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Kristin (James) Chahine, Michael (Gretchen) Caggiano, Kimberly (Joel) Valentine-Little and Kelli (Dale) Kadavy; five great-grandchildren, Ryan Kadavy, Aaron Little, Jon and Anthony Caggiano, and Anna Chahine. Prayer services will be Monday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
