Poland- Katherine Denmeade, 94, of the Blackburn Home died Thursday evening at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Denmeade was born in Pittsburgh November 5, 1909, a daughter of Mathew and Ann Kalic Mogus. She was a member of Saint Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown, where she was a member of the Altar Guild and was one of the original pirohy makers. Her husband, Robert Allen Denmeade , whom she married, August 7, 1948, died February 28, 1994. She leaves one son, Paul A. ( Debbie ) Denmeade of Poland; one granddaughter, Kellie Denmeade of Poland; a niece, Marilyn (Don) Joseph of Struthers; and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Banovich, Rose Mogus, Margaret Mance, Frances Mogus, and Anne Labas; three brothers, Mathew Mogus, John Mogus, and Frank Mogus; and one granddaughter, Stacey Denmede. Funeral services will be Monday 10 AM, at Saint Paul the Apostle Church. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
