Karoline D. Perkins

Struthers - Karoline D. Perkins, 84, died July 29, 2016 at Hospice House.
Mrs. Perkins was born January 24, 1932 in Schweinfurt, Germany, a daughter of Franz and Rosa Luck Schober.
She was trained and apprenticed as a Seamstress in Germany. Karol worked at McKelvey's, Livingston's, Two Girls Two, The Clothes Tree, and Dillard's. She was a member of the Youngstown Maennerchor. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and reading.
Her husband, Merle R. Perkins, whom she married Jan.30, 1953, died July 30, 2009.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (John) Kology of Struthers and Karen (James) Rinehart of Trabuco Canyon, CA; one son, Jeffrey Perkins of Peoria, AZ; one sister, Marianne Schuller; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Franceschelli of Colorado Springs, CO, Carol Lynn (Steve) Procick of Lowellville, Paige Rinehart of Trabuco Canyon, CA, and Jeffrey Rinehart of Trabuco Canyon, CA; five great-grandchildren, Taylor and Gianna Franceschelli, Gavin, Savannah, and Sydney Procick.
Besides her parents and husband, Karol was preceded in death by one brother, Helmut Schober.
Per her wishes there will be no calling hours or services.
Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
