Karl Kaneski, 76 Poland- Karl Kaneski, 76, of 7738 Forest Hill Drive, died Friday morning at Boardman Community Care. Mr. Kaneski was born January 25, 1928 in Bessemer, Pennsylvania, a son of George and Anna Rentz Kaneski. He was raised in Lowellville and later moved to Poland. He was a 1946 graduate of Lowellville High School and worked as an equipment operator, building substations for Ohio Edison, retiring in 1990 after 46 years of service. Mr. Kaneski was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict from 1950 until 1952. He was a member of the Struthers VFW Post #3538 and a member of Holy Family Church in Poland. He leaves his wife the former Theresa Donadeo whom he married February 19, 1955; one daughter, Anne (John) Wilson of Struthers; one son, William (Tammy) Kaneski of Beaver, Pennsylvania; one sister Rosemary (Leon) Nels of Clinton, Ohio; one brother, Harry (Ester) Kaneski of Lowellville; and five grandchildren. Besides his parents, two brothers, Richard and Paul Lennox preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10:00 am at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:30 am at Holy Family Church. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
