Poland - Karen Sue Lewis, age 64, of Youngstown, died on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Austin Woods Nursing Center. She was born in Youngstown, on August 2, 1950, the daughter of the late, Leslie and Mary Jane Shramo Lewis.
Karen was a 1971 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a member of Faith Community Covenant Church. She enjoyed doing sketches and story illustrations and loved her doll collection.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Lewis; niece Christina Lewis and several aunts and uncles.
She leaves her brother, Roger Lewis; aunt, Ethel Cantwell; niece, Samantha (Rocco) Lewis-Carbone; nephews, Roger and Ben Lewis; great nieces, Nina Carbone, Jenna Lewis-Emerson, Melissa Leiter and Sara Leiter; great nephews, Charlie Lewis-Emerson and Joey Lewis; sister-in-law, Lesley Lewis; and her very special friend, Judy Creque.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland is handling arrangements.
