Karen A. (Alderman) Leyman, 62

New Middletown - Karen Annette (Alderman) Leyman, 62 of New Middletown, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.

Karen was born January 28, 1956 in Sharon, PA, the daughter of the late Cecil and Marianne (Meyers) Alderman.

She graduated on the Dean's List from Clark State with a Bachelor's degree in medical transcription.

Karen was a call center operator for GE Financial Services for several years and a homemaker.

She is survived by mother, Marianne Alderman of Struthers two children, Nicole Leigh Leyman of New Middletown and Eric Paul (Saddie Redmond, fiancee) Leyman of Lisbon; a brother, Cecil Alderman Jr. of Salem, and a sister, Robin Zitkovic of Struthers.

Per Karen's requests, there will be no calling hours or services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Angels for Animals, 4750 State Route 165, Canfield, OH, 44406 or to Animal Charity, 4140 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512 in memory of Karen.
