June "Sunshine" (Himes) Osiniak

June "Sunshine" Osiniak, 81, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, April 11, 2018, surrounded by her family at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana.

June was born on June 28, 1936 in Hubbard, to her parents, Norman and Sara Wolfgang Himes.

She married the love of her life, Donald, on July 26, 1958. They shared a beautiful love that only grew stronger over the years. She was a loving and supportive mother to her children, Donald and Patricia. She will also be remembered as a wonderful grandmother who showed her grandchildren an abundance of love. June was a kind soul who touched many lives with her beautiful spirit. She was the epitome of grace and beauty and a smile that could light up a room. Anybody who knew June could feel a sense of love and positivity in her presence.

June is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Donald (Karen) Osiniak Jr. of Melbourne, FL and Patricia (Deno) Frazzini of Youngstown; sister, Lois Singer of Hubbard; brother, Jim (Shirl) Himes also of Hubbard; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashlee Frazzini. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Sara Himes; and sisters, Norma Jean Himes and Alma Ludwick.

A funeral service celebrating June's life, will be held Sunday afternoon, 2:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland with Rev. Michael Zabel officiating.

Friends will be received Saturday from 3-6 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will follow Monday at Lake Park Cemetery.

June's family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care provided by the staff at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center and All Care Hospice.
