June Violet Hull

Boardman - June Violet Hull, 89, died July 24, 2015 in St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. She was born May 7, 1926 in Struthers, OH, daughter of the late Alexander and Violet Jackson Grant.

She was employed as an Inspector for General Electric for 18 years, retiring in 1988. June was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers as well as the Women's Organization at the church, Sea Bee Auxiliary and the Aut Mori Cauldron. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of several church and women's bowling leagues and loved flowers, especially her roses.

She leaves her daughter, Charleen (John) Tyger of Boardman; two sons, Gary (Michele) Hull of Boardman and David (Charlene) Hull of Youngstown; her sister, Velma Mae Lenz of Reedsville, PA; her brother, Harry Grant of New Middletown; five grandchildren, Heather, Christopher, Leslie, Brian and Brandon and four great grandchildren, Alexandrea, Ethan, Aiden and Harper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hull on June 2, 2003; her sisters, Mildred Speerbrecker and Lillian Robison and her brother, Gilbert Grant.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. Boardman with Pastor Paul Burgeson officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Park Cemetery.

Friends will be received Monday from 5-7pm and prior to the service from 10-10:45am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
