June E. Mckee Horvath

June E. McKee Horvath, 77 Youngstown- June E. McKee Horvath, 77, of Assumption Village formerly of Struthers, died Tuesday morning at the nursing home. Mrs. Horvath was born June 25, 1926 in Struthers, a daughter of Michael and Ella McCavitt Carney. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1946 graduate of Struthers High School where she later worked as a domestic engineer. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid dancer. She was a member of Saint Christine Church. Her first husband Melvin McKee died in 1956. Her second, husband, John T. Horvath , died March 11, 1980. She leaves two daughters, Rondalind Tomko of Boardman and Betty Leone of Canfield; three sons, Melvin McKee of Youngstown, Michael (Randy) McKee of Warren and Richard Horvath of New Middletown; one sister, Loretta Carney of Las Vegas; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Mary First, Teresa Prince and Grace Finn; and one brother, Joseph Carney preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday, 9:15 at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and 10:00 AM at Saint Christine Church. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Thursday and Friday 8:15- 9:15 AM at the funeral home.
