Judy P. Isaacson, 71, died February 13, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family after a 8 month battle with cancer. Judy was born April 8, 1946 in Youngstown, a daughter of Zebulan and Letha Burrell Josey.
She was a 1964 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and was a bank teller for Key Bank over 10 years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Judy loved her home, casino trips, and family vacations at the beach. Her true joy was her family especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Gary, whom she married Aug. 25, 1963; two sons, Mark (Laurie) Isaacson of Poland and Robert (Karen) Isaacson of New Middletown; one daughter, Melissa (Timothy) Vojta of Broadview Heights; six grandchildren, Amber, Chase, Ethan, and Macey Isaacson, Allison and Joseph Vojta ; three sisters, Mary Daniels of Struthers, Shirley Rispinto of Campbell, and Sandy (Raymond) Benson of Austintown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Judy was preceded in death by one brother Jake Josey; three sisters, Betty DeVan, Dorothy Melia, and Ruby Brociuos; and one grandson, Cole.
Services will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland, Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home 270 N. Main St., Poland and Saturday from 9-9:45AM at the church.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of the Valley for the excellent care of Judy.
