Judith A. Pellegrene, 72
CANFIELD - Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Simon Road Church of God for Judith A. Pellegrene, 72, who passed away Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. Pellegrene was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Butler, Pa., a daughter of John and Adis Ervin McCool.
She had been the manager of Gemstone Jewelry store in the Southern Park Mall.
She was a member of the church and sang in its choir.
Judy enjoyed reading, especially Danielle Steele novels.
Surviving her is her husband of 57 years, Harry J. Pellegrene, whom she married Nov. 9, 1957; her children, Pam (Ron) Sundin of Youngstown, Renee (Shannon) Jones of Struthers and Harry (girlfriend Nancy) Pellegrene of Struthers; six grandchildren, David, Dustin, Mandy, Robert, April and Jennifer; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marianne Texter, Linda Whistler, and Edith (Richard) McCullough; three brothers, Ken (Dee) McCool, Sam (Zelda) McCool and Rick (Qwen) McCool; and two brothers-in-law, William Docherty and Dennis (Marsha) Pellegrene.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was a son, Robert Carl Pellegrene; and a brother, Jack McCool.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions the American Lung Association of Ohio, 6100 Rockside Wood Blvd., Independence, OH 44131.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vrabel, Dr. Proia, the ICU nurses at Boardman St. E's and the staff at the Greenbriar Nursing Home for the wonderful care they gave Judith
