Judith Marie Dellapenna, 82

Boardman - Judith Marie Dellapenna, 82, passed away Sunday morning, January 20, 2019 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Poland with her loving family by her side.

Judith, known by her family and friends as "Judy" was born July 4, 1936 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of the late William and Lelah (Sweeney) Vickers.

Judy attended New Life Christian Church. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels of Mahoning County and the Welcome Wagon in Boardman.. She was an avid reader and golfer. Judy enjoyed bowling, fishing and boating, especially on Lake Erie and playing cards with family and friends.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Robert) Marchaza of Mentor, Diana (James) Johngrass of Boardman; a son, James Dellapenna Jr. of Elgin, SC; two brothers, Jim (Gail) Vickers of Boardman, Bill (Joyce) Vickers of Erie, PA; a sister, Eva (Thomas) Sieber of Zanesville; 10 grandchildren; and 14 Great-Grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Colleen of Columbiana; and caregiver and good friend, Marnie Spator of Campbell.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James J. Dellapenna; and a son, Anthony Dellapenna.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market Street in Boardman with Reverend Theresa Elias officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:45 pm at the funeral home with funeral service to follow.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
