Josephine Panella, 90 Poland- Josephine Panella, 90 of Sunrise Assisted Living, formerly of Struthers, died Saturday morning at her residence. She was born October 22, 1914 in Rosebud, West Virginia a daughter of John and Maria Belotta Mamone. She moved to Struthers in 1931 from Farrell, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Panella was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers, itâa�a��s Infant Jesus of Prague and the Mothers Club, Sons of Italy # 1122, the Loyal Order of the Moose and Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the local and national Association of Retired Persons. Her Husband, Leonard whom she married February 4, 1931, died May 13, 2001. She leaves a daughter, Donna-Jean (Jack W.) Waggoner of Poland; a son, Leonard J. (Betty) Panella of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and two brothers, John Mamone of Youngstown and Samuel Mamone of Cortland and Florida; five grandchildren; Richard A. (Cindy) Liddle, Jeffrey L. (Cindy) Liddle, Christopher S. (Julie) Liddle, Todd L. (Jennell) Panella, and Scott R. (Meg) Panella; three great grandchildren, Jessica Jo Liddle, Mary Jo Liddle and Dominic Charles Panella. A sister Mary Sheridan and brothers, Robert Mamone and Nicholas Mamone are deceased. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland. A prayer service will be Friday at 9:00 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 9:30 at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
