Struthers - Josephine M. Dominick, 92, of North Lima formerly of Struthers, died Tuesday morning at Assumption Village.
Josephine was born April 28, 1920 in Youngstown, a daughter of Peter and Julia Danko Mikita.
Josephine enjoyed her role as a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family and their home and was proud of her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed spending her time bird watching. Josephine was a member of Christ our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
Her husband Rocco Frank Dominick, Sr., whom she married April 11, 1942 died May 16, 1979; she leaves one daughter, Donna Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Rocco (Jean) Dominick Jr. of Poland and Donald (Donna) Dominick of Cincinnati, OH; seven grandchildren, Michael Dominick, Shannon and Nathan Kaplan, Rocco and Jennifer Dominick, Nicholas and Julia Dominick, Kristen and Nicholas Dasovich, Thomas Dominick and Michael Dominick; and four great-grandchildren, Vincent, Jacob, Joseph, and Christopher Dominick.
Besides her parents and husband, Josephine was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Edward Dominick; son-in-law Richard Wilson; five sisters, Theresa Mikita, Helen Wolfe, Anna Smith, Mary DeCenso, and Julia Markovitz; and five brothers, Peter, Michael, Joseph, John and Stephen Mikita.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 10:30 AM at Christ our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church with Fr. Bernard Bonnot officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
Friends will be received Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where a Prayer Service be at conducted at 10:00 AM.
