Joseph Uler âa�" 83 POLAND âa�" Joseph Uler, 83 of 1945 Cover Dr., died Monday morning at his residence. Mr. Uler was born in Youngstown on March 2, 1923 a son of Joseph & Mary Karras Uhlar. He was a 1941 graduate of Campbell High School, and a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran, where he held the position of Gunners Mate third class, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, African European Middle East Medal, the American Area Medal, Victory Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Medal. Mr. Uler was the former Owner and President of the Uler Insurance Company, Inc., a member of the Home Builders Association, the Better Business Association, and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, the former June D. Koval, whom he married January 9, 1948, a daughter Robin D. Uler of Darnestown, Md., one son, Bruce D. (Jodianne) Uler of Haverford Pa., two sisters, Mary Stanislav of Poland, Ann Friedman of Adventure Fl., one brother, John Uhlar, and two grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Michael & Andrew Uhlar, and one sister Helen Kraynak. Private services were held Wednesday at the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
