Struthers - Joseph Toth, 77, of Struthers, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Hospice House.
Mr. Toth was born November 13, 1932 in Alliance, a son of John and Helen Balon Toth.
He attended South High School. Mr. Toth was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Toth worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 33 years until its closing and then worked for Metropolitan Bank in the maintenance department.
For many years, he was a volunteer for the Struthers Fire Department, and he coached Struthers Little League Baseball for several years. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching them on television.
He leaves his wife, the former Irene Simkin, whom he married August 27, 1954; two sons, Lenny Toth and Kenny Toth, both of Struthers; two granddaughters, Lyndsey (Jason) West of Struthers and Jessica Fusselman of Girard; and one great grandson, Jackson West.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Soroka.
There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
