Joseph E. Quinn

Joseph E. Quinn, 72 POLAND- Joseph E. Quinn, 72, of 223 N. Main Street died Wednesday evening at his residence. He was born September 9, 1930 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a son of Michael F. and Cecelia Murphy Quinn. He moved to Poland 17 years ago. Mr. Quinn was a Fork Lift Operator for Hynes Steel for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. His wife the former Sally L. Llewellyn whom he married June 2, 1956 died March 22, 2001. He leaves one daughter, Susan Stoughton at home, four sons, Joseph of Dallas, Georgia, Jeffrey at home, James of Struthers and David of Youngstown; one sister, Helen Iorio of New Castle and ten grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, three sisters, Frances Fee, Josephine Marshall and Martha Mangine and two brothers, Michael and John Quinn preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
