Struthers - Joseph Cuhran, 77, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Joe was born October 2, 1941 in Youngstown, a son of John and Mary (Manijak) Cuhran, Sr.
A lifelong resident of Struthers, Joe was a 1959 graduate of Struthers High School. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1966. Mr. Cuhran made his career as a plumber and was a member of the UA Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 396.
He was a longtime member of Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Struthers. Joe loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing over the years.
Joe is survived by his sister, Mary Agnes Shears of Austintown; sister-in-law, Joan Cuhran of Boardman; three nephews, James (Amy) Cuhran of Perrysburg, John J. Cuhran of Boardman, and David Shears of Austintown; one niece, Jeanette (Ted) Barnes of San Diego, CA; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Cuhran, Jr., brother-in-law, David Shears; and nephew, Danny Shears.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
