Joseph Chetsko

Kinsman - Joseph Chetsko, 68, of Kinsman, formerly of Canfield, died April 7, 2014 at Hospice House in Poland.

Mr. Chetsko was born June 25, 1945 in Youngstown, a son of the late Michael and Magdaleen Serensky Chetsko.

Known to his friends as "Joe C," he graduated from Canfield High School in 1963. He worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube and retired from Delphi Packard Electric as a millwright/machine repairman in 2004 after 25 years. He served 15 years in the Army Reserves 348 Engineer Company.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Spatholt, whom he married, Aug. 1, 1985; one daughter, Leeanna Chetsko of Kinsman; a step-son, Brian Schnell of Petersburg; a step-daughter, Christine Schnell of New Springfield; a brother, Michael Chetsko of Canfield; and a sister, Beverly Romanick of Bloomington, IL.

Friends and family will be received Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St. in Struthers.

A prayer service will be held Saturday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas, at 12:30 PM with Fr. Bernard Bonnot officiating. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
