John Yargo Phoenix- John Yargo, formerly of Kennedy Road in Poland, died April 28, in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Yargo was born November 6, 1938 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a son of Joseph and Mary Grannie Yargo. He was raised and lived in Poland until moving to Arizona in 1993. He was a locomotive engineer for LTV where he had to take early retirement after 25 years of service. He had several jobs afterwards, the last one taking inbound calls for EDS. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Yargo loved the outdoors, playing cards, fishing, camping and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed going out to eat with friends or inviting them to his home for a good cookout. He especially enjoyed being with his family and celebrating special occasions. He is survived by his wife Lois Jean of 39 years; one sister, JoAnn of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers, Ralph and David, both of Austintown; two sisters, Carol of Austintown and Debbie of North Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Yargo. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 12th , 2:30 PM at the Poland United Methodist Church.
