John âa�A"Billâa�A� Turnbull, Sr., 76 IRON WORKERS LOCAL UNION #207 Campbell- John William Turnbull, Sr., 76, of 117 Gordon Ave., died Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mr. Turnbull best known as Bill, was born December 18, 1928 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of James and Sarah Barthlowe Turnbull. He came to this area as a boy and to Campbell in 1957. Bill attended Woodrow Wilson High School and was an iron worker for Local Union #207 for 57 years retiring in 1990. He was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. His wife the former Sida âa�A"Tillieâa�A� C. Alden whom he married July 1, 1953 died February 24, 2005. He leaves one daughter, Beverly (Tom) Armeni of Campbell; five sons, George Cionni of New Castle, Pa., John âa�A"Buckâa�A� (Deborah) Turnbull of Canfield; Bobby Turnbull and Brad (Lisa) Turnbull both of Campbell, and Mark (Paula) Turnbull of Poland; one sister, Lois Unger of Cuyahoga Falls; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Billâa�a��s most beloved past time was watching his children and grandchildren playing school sports in Campbell, Poland and Ursuline. His daughter and son-in-law, Judith and John Bumgartner, sister, Sandy Turnbull and brothers, James Vernon Turnbull and Charles Turnbull preceded him in death.
