John H. Theil

John H. Theil, 84 Boardman- John H. Theil, 84, died Wednesday afternoon at Boardman Community Care Center. He was born on December 6, 1920 in Lowellville, a son of John and Marie Branch Theil. Mr. Theil was a 1939 graduate of Lowellville High School. He worked for the P & LE Railroad for 41 years, before retiring in 1981. He was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII, where he was in the RR Battalion in France. He was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church. He leaves his wife of 57 years, the former Jane Carolyn Booth, whom he married April 26, 1947; two daughters, Carol Kelly of Boardman and Ruth Mozzy of Poland; one sister, Freda Fox of Boonville, CA; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven sisters, Sophie Watson, Ann Berendt, Ruth Theil, Alma Coss, Elsie Gallagher, Minnie Grist, and Margaret Seely.
