John W. Straight

Minot, North Dakota - John W. Straight, 45, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 15, 2016.
John was born March 22, 1971 in Youngstown, a son of Kathleen Gavin Kinkela and Roy Straight.
He was a 1989 Cardinal Mooney High School graduate, where he played football and was employed as a construction worker in North Dakota.
John enjoyed reading and would often read 200-300 pages each night. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State fan.
He leaves both of his parents, Kathleen and Ron Kinkela of Salem and Roy and Sandy Straight of Boardman; and step-brother, Bradley Straight of Boardman.
John was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Jack and Mildred Gavin; and paternal grandparents, Bob and Dorothy Straight.
A brief prayer service will be held Sunday June 5, 2016 at 2:00PM by Deacon John Terranova at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, followed by a memorial luncheon at the Becker Family Center.
