John A. Speziale Sr.

Struthers - John A. Speziale Sr., 83, died March 31, 2016 at Maplecrest Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Speziale was born June 19, 1932 in Struthers, OH, a son of Russell and Elizabeth Speziale.

He was raised and lived in Struthers most of his life. He resided in Phoenix from 1978-2007. John worked at Republic Steel. He also did carpentry work as a sub contractor. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with family and friends, loved traveling by RV all over the US, where he spent 6 months in Alaska. He also enjoyed cruises and playing card games.

He is survived by son, John A. (Karen) Speziale Jr. of East Liverpool; two sisters, Elizabeth Speziale and Phyllis (John) Carsey; one brother, Russell (Debbie) Speziale; five grandchildren, Matthew Speziale, Alan Demo, John A (Audrey) Speziale, Angela Speziale, and Frank Speziale Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who he was close with.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances Horvatich, Rosemary Lentine, Josephine Oberman and Angeline Konecheck; and five brothers, Carmen Jimmy, Eddie, and Joe Speziale, and Patsy Deblasio.

A memorial service will be held at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St. in Struthers, OH, Friday at 2:00PM, with Pastor David VanBuskirk officiating.
