John Amos McMurray, 75 Youngstown- John Amos McMurray, 75, of 2554 E. Midlothian Blvd., died Friday evening at Boardman Community Care. Mr. McMurray was born June10, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of Amos and Ethel Berisford McMurray. He lived in this area most of his life and in Florida from 1980-1992. He graduated from Petersburg High School and was an inspector for Republic Steel and then LTV, retiring in 1983 after 40 years. Besides his former wife and good friend Carole (David) Rankin of Youngstrown, he leaves twin daughters, Judie McMurray of Struthers and Julie McMurray of Youngstown; three sons, Glen (Patty) McMurray and Gary (Trudy) McMurray all of Struthers, and Gale (Michele) McMurray of Apopka, Florida; one sister, Maxine Nichols of Petersburg; one brother, Kenneth McMurray of New Middletown and eight grandchildren. One sister, Helen Beck and one brother, Richard McMurray preceded him in death. There are no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
