POLAND - John Medbury Wilson, 59 of Duncan Drive, died April 25, 2009.
Mr. Wilson was born March 31, 1950 in Youngstown, OH, son of John Howard and Alice Carroll Wilson, and was a life long area resident.
He was a 1968 graduate of the Poland Seminary High School, and attended Youngstown State University. An Army Veteran, Mr. Wilson served as a Military Police Officer in Germany in the early 1970's. He had worked for many years as a salesmen and sales manager in the blow-moulding industry, traveling throughout the United States. He was a member of Member of the Poland Presbyterian Church, and was a very active supporter of the Youngstown YMCA's Camp Fitch.
He leaves one sister, Elizabeth Gay (Gary L. Green) Wilson of Quinton, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Poland Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
