John F. Cannistra, Jr

John F. Cannistra, Jr., 65, of Youngstown, died Monday, December 22, 2008 at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mr. Cannistra was born January 21, 1943 in Youngstown, a son of John F. and Dorothy Larger Cannistra, Sr. He attended Liberty High School and worked for various companies as an independent truck driver. He served in the Army National Guard and Reserves from 1964 to 1970. Mr. Cannistra was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard. He leaves three brothers, Joseph (Karen) Cannistra and Charles (Linda) Cannistra, both of Liberty and Raymond (Diane) Cannistra of Vienna. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be in Belmont Park Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
