John G. Amicone

John G. Amicone, 91 Canfield- John G. Amicone, 91, died early Friday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mr. Amicone was born in Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania November 24, 1912, a son of Sabitine and Concetta Amicone. He was a steelworker at Republic Steel, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. His wife Julia, whom he married September 28, 1948, died November 30, 2002. He leaves one granddaughter, Cindy (Chris) Audia of Canfield; and one great grandson, Jordan. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Beshara; and six sisters, Rosie Scutella, Christina Scutella, Lucy Trombetta, Josephine Carosella, Margaret Peel, and Angeline Amicone. Funeral services will be Monday 10 AM at the Sacred Heart Church. Friends may call one hour prior at the church. Arrangements are being handled the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland
