Joanne C. (Cunningham) Barns

Poland - Joanne "Joan" C. Barns, 85, passed away at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Joan was born May 29, 1931 in Youngstown and lived in Poland Village for 75 years. She graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 1949 and married Jack M. Barns in 1950.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mitchell (Diann) Barns and John Barns; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Atty. John B. Cunningham and Francis Mae Cunningham; her daughter, Suzanne "Sue" and her brother, John B. "Skip" Cunningham.
She was a longtime member of Poland Presbyterian Church and also belonged to the Friends of the Poland Library and the Red Hat Society. Most of all she was a homemaker, loving Mother, Grandmother and Wife.
Private services will be held at the chapel at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
