JoAnn E. Ferry

Leetonia -JoAnn E. Ferry, 86, of Leetonia, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Poland Village Assisted Living. 

Born November 20, 1937, in Leetonia, she was daughter to the late William Sr. and Wilma (Stokes) Bingham. 

JoAnn graduated from Leetonia High School, then on June 1, 1957, she married Gerald Ferry and the two shared 55 years of marriage until his passing on June 15, 2012. Gerald and JoAnn were blessed with their two sons and later their grandson. 

She is survived by her son, Steven (Melissa Chestnut) Ferry, of Youngstown; grandson, Austin Michael Ferry, of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Lois Boswell, of Leetonia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ferry; infant daughter Shelly Ann Ferry; siblings, William Bingham, Jr. and Bonnie Geary. 

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 2638 Grafton Rd. Leetonia, OH 44431. A luncheon will follow at 2 Broke Girls Cafe, 310 Walnut St. Leetonia, OH 44431.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mount Calvary Cemetery Association, 244 Elm St. Leetonia, OH 44431.
