Jeffrey Lee Wagner

Struthers - Jeffrey Lee Wagner, 61, passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon, August 17, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Jeff was born January 22, 1958 in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Betty Mae Wasser Wagner.

Raised in Struthers, Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Struthers High School. Jeff went on to receive his CDL license in Kentucky. He worked as a truck driver for various companies until becoming a driving instructor for the New Castle School of Trade. When not working, Jeff enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

He leaves his wife, the former Brenda Dixon, whom he married May 14, 1993; four children, George Weaver and Kristofer (Melanie Wright) Weaver all of Youngstown, Samantha (Patrick) Williams of Austintown and Scott Wagner of Struthers; one brother, Paul (Sue) Wagner of Struthers; one grandson, Jacob Williams; his father and mother-in-law, William and Pearl Dixon of Campbell; sisters and brother-in-law, Connie (Frank Kovach) Dixon, Karen (Michael) Adair, William (Jodie) Dixon, June (Sam) Feldman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a brother, John Wagner.

A Memorial service celebrating Jeff's life will be held Saturday, 4:00 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers with Pastor Dan Yargo officiating.

Friends will be received Saturday, prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
