JOLIET, IL. - Jeffrey Michael Simpson, 49, formerly of Struthers, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at the Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Mr. Simpson was born May 1, 1960 in Youngstown, a son of Earl and Joanne Ambrosia Simpson.
He was a graduate of Struthers High School, where he excelled in sports, and later Youngstown State University. He worked for 20 years at the ABS Graphics in Addison, Ill. He loved golf and had recently opened Sim's Caddy Shop. Throughout the years, he was a great coach to his kids and taught them everything they know about sports.
Besides his parents of Struthers, he leaves three children, Shelby Taylor, Joshua Jeffrey and Jacob Ryan; a brother, Mark Simpson of Struthers; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and the mother of his children, Tina.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
