Jeffrey A. Flickinger

New Middletown - Jeffrey A. Flickinger, 62, of 9555 Struthers Rd., died Tuesday at Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland. Mr. Flickinger was born November 5, 1944 in Youngstown, a son of Chester and Dorothy Baker Flickinger. He was a 1964 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and attended Youngstown State University. He retired in 2004 after 15 years as a Sexton for St. Johnâa�a��s Episcopal Church in Youngstown. He also had worked at General Fireproofing for 23 years. Mr. Flickinger served in the United States Army from 1967 until 1969. Mr. Flickinger was a member of Sulgrave Masonic Lodge #696 F.& A.M. of Poland, and a 32nd Degree Mason with the Scottish Rite of the Valley of Youngstown where he was a member of the Scottish Rite Choir. He is survived by his daughter, Maria (John) Gray of Poland; two sons, Jeff Flickinger of Youngstown and Chet Flickinger of Boardman; one brother David (Jodie) Flickinger of West Columbia, SC; and one granddaughter, Christina Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents.
