Jeanne L. (Bowshot) John

Jeanne L. John, 80, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, Tuesday morning, March 10, 2020 at Assumption Village.

Jeanne was born May 8, 1939 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Howard and Helen Slaven Bowshot.

Raised in Struthers, Jeanne was a graduate of Struthers High School, Class of 1957. She loved her role as a wife, mother and grandmother, and cherished her time taking care of her family and home. Most recently she enjoyed spending her time with her great-granddaughter, Valerie.

Her husband, Lee R. John, whom she married July 26, 1960 passed away June 27, 2013. Jeanne leaves to her memory, her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Irene John of Boardman; brother and sister-in-law, James and Kay Bowshot of Columbiana; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Stephen Orlando and Evan John and fiance' Marissa of Boardman; and one great-grandchild, Valerie Orlando.
