Jeanette M. Lukes, 79

Youngstown: Jeanette M. Lukes, 79, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House with her loving family by her side.

Jeanette was born November 4, 1939 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Dominic and Florence (Nicoletti) Capezzuto.

She worked as a Administrative Secretary for St. Christine Church for over 20 years, retiring in 2017 and was a dedicated homemaker.

Jeanette is survived by three children, Christine (Fred) Crawford of New Canaan, CT., John P. Lukes and Michael R. Lukes both of Boardman; four grandchildren, Luke Crawford, Sarah Crawford, and twins, Ethan Crawford and Alexa Crawford.

Besides her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John M. Lukes, whom she married in 1962, died January17, 2019; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Per Jeanette's requests, there will be no calling hours or services.

The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, OH. 44512 in memory of Jeanette.

Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed spending with family and friends and will be greatly missed.
