Jean A. Metzger, 82 Boardman- Jean A, Metzger, 82, of E. Parkside Drive died early Tuesday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Metzger was born May 16, 1923 in Aurora, Illinois, a daughter of Harold and Hazel Moon Stafford. She and her family moved to this area in the 1960âa�a��s to open Youngstownâa�a��s very first McDonaldâa�a��s restaurant, located on Rt. 224. They later franchised the first Bonanza Steakhouse in the area. Mrs. Metzger worked in sales for Pier 1 Imports in Boardman for 25 years retiring in the year 2000. She was a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Randi Blackann of Boardman; one son, Lee (Joann) Metzger of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Donna Morfee of Delray Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Jami (Jeff) Kidd, Dawn (Mike) Ritzenthaler, Tammy (John) Casey, and Brian Metzger; and five great-grandchildren, Blake, Justin, Shelby, Brooklyn, and Ericka.
