Poland - Jean E. Kridler, 81, died Friday evening, August 8, 2014 at the Hospice House.
Mrs. Kridler was born August 23, 1932 in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Rose McFarlin.
She was a graduate of Poland Seminary High School. Mrs. Kridler was primarily a homemaker, taking care of her two sons and husband. Jean worked early on as a dental assistant and later as a substitute school bus driver for the Poland Schools.
She was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church.
Her interests included CB radios, formerly belonging to several area CB radio groups, gardening, caring for her cats, and feeding her birds.
Her husband, John R. Kridler, whom she married March 5, 1955, died December 30, 2003. She is survived by her two sons, Kurt (Connie) Kridler of Leetonia and Karl (Tari) Kridler of North Lima; four grandchildren, Tommy (Daniella), Jeanne, Marnie, and Richard Kridler.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Brant.
A private memorial service will be held for the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland.
