New Middletown - Jean (Larson) Dixon, 89 died October 28, 2015 at Masternick Memorial.
Jean was born August 20, 1926 in Port Allegany, PA,a daughter of Frank and Mary Tolar Zlobec.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Jean was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2799.
She is survived by one daughter, Louise (Walt) Ketchem of Tucson, AZ; three sons, Dennis Larson of New Springfield, Stephen (Karen) Larson of New Springfield, and Gregory Larson of New Middletown; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three daughter-in-laws, Diana, Kimberly, Shirley.
Besides her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Vergil Larson and her second husband, Donald Dixon; one son, Richard John Larson; three sisters, Lydia Nelson, Stella Benson, and Mary Manning; two brothers, Frank and Louis Zlobec; and one grandson, Steve Larson Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Chris Luoni officiating.
A private burial will be held in Port Allegheny, PA at a later date.
Friends and family will be received Saturday 9-9:45AM at the church.
The family requests all gifts take the form of donations to Community Center for the Deaf, 6614 Southern Blvd., Boardman, OH 44512.
