Struthers - Jay Ronald Weston, 63, of Struthers, passed away peacefully May 20, 2013 at his residence, after a nine month battle with cancer.
Mr. Weston was born September 1, 1949 in Youngstown, son of Jay and Bessemae Lawson Weston.
He was a 1968 Springfield High graduate, where he ran track. After graduation, Jay went on to work as a dispatcher at Penn Central Railroad (Conrail) until 1982. In 1990, he began working at Schwebel's Bakery until his retirement in 2008.
Jay was an avid sports fan and loved the Chicago White Sox's. He also enjoyed music/concerts and spending time at the beach
He leaves three children, Brent (Ashley McAllister) Weston of Lowellville, Jessie (Nick) Aquisto of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, and J.R. Weston of Youngstown; two grandchildren, Rileigh and Nicholas Aquisto Jr.; life long friend, Jeff (Jackie) Yelic of Canfield; and his two cats, Pete and Kinker.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
There will be no services or calling hours.
