Poland, - Janet Lee Flauto, 64, of 1814 Canavan Drive, died Tuesday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman, where she was taken after suffering a pulmonary embolism. The daughter of John Fecko, Mrs. Flauto was born on January 17th, 1944 in Warren. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Mrs. Flauto was a medical receptionist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Forum Health, a position she held for nearly 20 years. Mrs. Flauto graduated from Chaney High School in 1961 as well as from the Youngstown Business School, earning a clerical degree. She leaves two sons, Donald S. and his wife Heather of Delaware, Ohio and Jeffrey M. and his wife Shannon of Youngstown; a brother, John Fecko of San Diego, California; her companion, Jim Mahon with whom she made her home; and her former husband and best friend, James Flauto of Austintown. She leaves four grandsons, Matthew (6) and Joseph (3), as well as Alex (19) and Marc (15). Her grandchildren were the absolute pride and joy of her life. Mrs. Flauto was well known for being an extremely caring and generous person who touched the lives of all those around her. Her warm-hearted and loving nature will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main Street, Poland.
