BOARDMAN - Jane Stackpole, 89, of Boardman, died Wednesday morning at the Hospice House.Mrs. Stackpole was born January 3, 1920 in Lisbon, OH, daughter of Arthur and Ruby Ranger Wright, and was a life long area resident.
She was a 1938 graduate of the Salem High School , and a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Youngstown, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Edgar D. Stackpole, Sr., whom she married January 8, 1940, two sons Edgar "Sonny" D. Stackpole Jr. and his spouse Barbara of Powder Springs, GA; Arthur Stackpole and his spouse Patricia of Austintown; one daughter Jan Rothbauer, and her husband William, whom Jane considered as one of her sons. She also leaves 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur F. Wright and Thomas Ranger Wright and one sister, Virginia "Betty" Wright.
There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
