Services will be held, Monday, 12:00 PM at Davis -Becker Funeral Home for Jane McKendry, She passed early Thursday morning at The Greenbriar Healthcare Center.
Mrs. McKendry was born June 6, 1928 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stanley and Florence May Blewitt Hilton. She graduated from South High School in 1946 and received her teaching certificate from the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. She taught piano at the downtown Strouss Department Store and at her home for 15 years. She was also the organist at Christian Science Church for the last 48 years.
Her husband Francis McKendry whom she married July 17, 1948 died Aug. 10, 2001.
Surviving her are her children, daughters, Barbara Ribarich of Boardman, Beverly (Joe) Zarlengo of Suffern, NY, and sons Larry (Betty) McKendry of Boardman and Jon McKendry of Atwood GA. Also twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents is a son Robert F. McKendry and two brothers Bruce and Edward Hilton and two sisters Ethel Maxin and Edna Holland-Hollowell.
Friends may call from 10-11:45 am at the funeral home on Monday.
