Private Services were held for James J. Rush, 84 who passed away Tuesday afternoon April 17that his home surrounded by all his family members.
Mr. Rush was born November 19, 1927 in Connellsville, PA. A son of James and Mildred (Cunningham) Rush. He graduated from Ursuline High School and was a member of St. Luke's Parish. He worked for Republic Steel Company as a yard master and retired after 25 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army in World War II.
Surviving him is the love of his life, his wife of 62 years, Helen (Mastaler) Rush, two daughters, Susan (John) Petro of Berlin Center, Kathleen (Rob) Colonna of Boardman. His wonderful grandchildren Bryan (DeAnna) Colonna, Shawn Colonna, John and Joe Petro. And a great grandchildren Aiden James Colonna.
James loved to work in his yard, make all types of models and bird watching. His happiest moments were the love of his family around him.
He will be dearly missed by all.
