James T. Pyne

James T. Pyne, 71 Poland- James T. Pyne, 71, died early Thursday morning at his daughter Carolâa�a��s residence in Slippery Rock, PA Mr. Pyne was born in Dubois, PA on December 15, 1933, a son of Robert and Dora Vaughn Pyne. He was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School in New Bethlehem, Pa. He graduated from Youngstown Colleg with a degree in Business Management. He was a Purchasing Agent for Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV). He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Pyne enjoyed antique cars and singing. H e was a member of Saint Luke Church in Boardman. He was also a member of the SPBSQA of Younsgtown and the National Management Association. His wife, the former Beverly June Colvin, whom he married August 22,1959, died April 10, 1986. He leaves four daughters, Nancy (Robert) Bensinger of North Lima,OH, Carol (Mark) Volponi of Slippery Rock,PA, Barbara (Mark) Calafati of Mertztown, PA, and Susan (Leonard) Sefcik of Poland; one sister, Mary Jean (Jack) Lillis of Erie, PA; two brothers, John (Ellen) Pyne of Rimersburg, PA and William (Judy ) Pyne of Rimersburg, PA; and 10 grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Pyne. Funeral services will be Tuesday 9:30AM at the Cunningham- Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10AM at Saint Luke Church.
