James T. Lendi

Poland - James T. "Jim" Lendi, 68, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2025 at St. Elizabeth in Boardman surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born August 13, 1956, a son of the late Ralph and Pauline (Christein) Lendi. He was a resident of Poland since the early 80s and recently retired from the State of Ohio.

Jim loved to spend time on the golf course, but was better known for hosting his family backyard picnics, something he was very proud of. He could also be found on the front porch with a beer and a cigar enjoying the world around him. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (Zarlenga), whom he married June 28, 1980; his daughters, Jessica (Joe) Anderson of Green; Jennifer (Don) Cavanaugh of Poland; and Jackie (Marcus Kraynak) Lendi of Boardman; his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Jenna, Jacob, Joella, and James Anderson, Daniel, Andrew, Delaney, and Luca Cavanaugh, and Lennon Kraynak; his sisters, April Lutz of Florida and Becky Macklen of Canfield; brother, Jay (Pam) Lendi of Alabama; and his in-laws, Marge and Joe Zarlenga of Poland.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, followed immediately by a memorial service beginning at 12:00 p.m. 

"I'm not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time."
