James L. Ingold, 78 North Lima- James L. Ingold, 78, of Assumption Village, formerly of Poland died Friday morning at Marion Living Center. Mr. Ingold was born June 29, 1927, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a son of William John and Agnes Shea Ingold. He was raised in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, and was a 50 year resident of Poland. He was a 1946 graduate of Oakmont High School and received his BA in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr Ingold worked at Youngstown Foundry and Machine and retired from Wean United as sales manger in 1983 after 30 years of service. Upon retiring Mr. Ingold established a sales consulting business called Ingold and Associates. Mr. Ingold was a member of the Prince of Peace Church in Poland, a member of the Poland Lodge F&AM #766 and a 32nd degree Mason of the Valley of Youngstown Scottish Rite. A United States Army Veteran during World War II, Mr. Ingold served as squad leader to the 351st Infantry Regiment, 88th Division, in Italy. His wife the former Sallie Ann Hayson, whom he married July 2, 1948, died January 6, 2004. He leaves two daughters, Nikki (Mark) Dolan of Poland and Teri (Mark) Eisenbraun of Boardman; one son, Lee (Diane) Ingold of Poland; four sisters, Andreâa�a�� Reiter of Verona, Pennsylvania, Audrey Moran of Verona, New York, Patricia Ingold of Butler, Pennsylvania, and Kathleen Rider of Cortland, Ohio; two brothers, Gerald Ingold of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Raymond Ingold of Williston, Vermont; seven grandchildren, Christian, Sean, and Megan Dolan, Carie Clinton, Samantha Quimby, James Ingold and Zachary Eisenbraun and eight great-grandchildren.
