Austintown - James G. "Uncle Jim" Fortunato, 58, of Austintown, died June 16, 2013 at Hospice House.
James was born August 18, 1954 in Youngstown, son of James and Bridget Anna (Mignella) Fortunato.
He worked in the laundry department for Goodwill Industries for 26 years, where he at one time received employee of the year. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ in Austintown. James loved Classical and 60's music. He also enjoyed singing, golfing, bowling, fishing, and traveling.
He leaves his mother, Bridget, of Struthers; three sisters, Carol (Roy) Weamer of Struthers, Dorothy Grover of Struthers, and Marilyn (Brian) Goldman of Lamarque, TX; eleven nieces and nephews; 18 great- nieces and nephews; and one great-great niece; and his extended Raecrc family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James G. Fortunato.
Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Friday from 5-8PM and Saturday 9:30-10:15 AM.
