Boardman - James V. Curry, 80, of Boardman, died December 13, 2014 at Hampton Woods .
Mr. Curry was born September 25, 1934 in Cincinnati, a son of Carl and Anna Kish Curry.
James graduated from Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati and attended Xavier University. He was a Supervisor for General Motors in Hamilton, OH and transferred to Lordstown in 1973.
James was a devoted worker and loved spending time with his great- grandchildren. He was a veteran of the United States Army stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Barbara Dover, whom he married Sept. 25, 1954; one daughter, Denise (Donald) Robinson of Boardman; one son, Richard (Christine) Curry of Pickerington, OH; two granddaughters, Shelby (Rob) Creed of Boardman and Hayley (John) Ciavarella of Canfield; five great-grand-grandchildren, Kendal, Landon, and Geneva Ciavarella; Ella and Logan Creed.
Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Ronald Curry.
Services will be held Tuesday 11:00AM at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Monday from 4:00 PM to 6:00PM and Tuesday from 10:00AM-10:45AM at the funeral home.
