Lowellville - James H. Crissman, 69, of Lowellville, died Wednesday, October 10, at his residence on Cooper Road. Mr. Crissman was born Wednesday, March 2, 1938 in Rimersburg, Pa, a son of John and Anna Mae Markle Crissman. A 1956 graduate of Rimersburg High School, Mr. Crissman received his Associates in Engineering from Penn State University. He was a Project Engineer for 48 years retiring in the year 2000. Mr. Crissman attended Victory Christian Center. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed spending time on Lake Arthur fishing for Walleye and Striper Bass. Mr. Crissman is survived by his wife, the former Sandra Huffman, whom he married October 24, 1964; a son, James (Linda) Crissman of Poland; a daughter, Rebecca (Doug) Backus of Akron; two sisters, Shirley (Ron) Tremba of Hubbard and Connie (Jim) McCullough of Rimersburg, PA; four grandchildren, Ashley, Gregory and Joshua Crissman and Scarlett Backus. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Alan Mark Crissman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 P.M. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Baer officiating. Interment will follow in the Lowellville Cemetery. Friends will be received Saturday, from 10:45-12:45 P.M., at the funeral home.
