Poland - James J. Combis, 66, formerly of Paulin Road, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Combis was born January 14, 1942 in Youngstown, a son of John and Alexandria Combis. He was the former owner of Jay Cee Seamless Gutter Supply in Poland. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Home Builders Association. Mr. Combis loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Combis is survived by three sons, John (Nora) Combis of Struthers, Demetrios Combis of Poland and Jarred (Michelle) Combis of Boardman; five grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony, Samantha, Timothy Combis and Olivia Combis; two sisters, Faith Hodinck of Columbiana and Diane (Tony) Lamancusa of Bel Air, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Frank Hodinck. Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church at 10:00 with Fr. Nicholas Shori officiating. Friends will be received from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. prior to the Mass.
